their franchises and independent operators with advanced computerized systems to improve customer service, automate production, control costs and facilitate movement of information within the restaurant, as well as the corporate headquarters of the franchisee's office.
The Problem
This leading supplier of POS systems for the quick-service restaurant industry said, "We were experiencing a series of delivery, quality and consistency problems with our supplier."
The Solution
"We hired WIN Enterprises to provide an appliance that could drive up to nine monitors, and display customer order information to two parties, i.e., the chefs responsible for preparing the food, and the managers responsible for monitoring operations. While we installed our own display controllers and driver software, WIN Enterprises' solution manages all I/O, processing, and memory.
The customer also desired the use of long-life Intel® embedded components in order to maximize product lifetime and to maximize their investment in industry certifications.
